If you’d like to follow World Youth Day events live, make your way to wydcentral.org. There you’ll be able to find the WYD event schedule, live broadcasts from Rio de Janeiro, and recorded programs about WYD, Pope Francis, and past WYD experiences.
It’s a vibrant faith-filled Christian festival for young adults and their families. It’s a time where we come together, away from the noise of the world, to make a noise for God!
Wish you were going to World Youth Day, but can’t go? Want to gather with other young adults to celebrate from here? Road trip, anyone? One Rock is a chance for young adults from across Alberta and the Northwest Territories to gather at Mt. St. Francis Retreat Centre in Cochrane, AB, to celebrate World Youth Day at home. It will include music, sacraments, break-out sessions with 6 Bishops from Alberta & NWT, a dramatization of the stations of the cross, and fellowship. This year, because One Rock will be held simultaneously as WYD, they will also be following WYD events via live feed from Rio de Janeiro!
For more information about One Rock, please visit their website.
